The Free ISK Party Has Closed
The faction warfare LP party is over, at least for those in the Minmatar militia:
We have to wonder if it was the Goons keeping everything at Tier 3 or better. This is the only time I've seen the Minmatar militia at Tier 2.
At tier 2, you're going to make about 30m ISK worth of LP per hour, assuming you can run six plex per hour. You'll do better with level 4 missions.
On the other hand, that's still decent ISK for completely new characters. If you want to get a new person into EVE, consider pointing them to faction warfare. They'll learn combat, d-scan, and other useful skills while still making a decent income.

I think it's still likely that they'll get it up to T4 once in a while on weekends, but I wouldn't bet any money on that opinion.
I don't think there's any doubt that it was the goons propping up that t4 status. Minmatar warzone control hasn't gone up substantially since the goons pulled out, and has been going down fairly steadily.
The minmatar had a *lot* of back end systems which were eternally topped up to level 5, and we (the amarr) have been making an effort to plex all those down over the last week or so. It's relatively easy to do since nobody really lives over that side of the warzone, and that's especially true now that there's no EWAR in plexes.
I think it's possible that the minmatar will get T4 again, but I doubt they can maintain it - I think if they do get it, it'll be due to a coordinated dumping of LPs intended to last just long enough for everyone to cash out at a decent rate.
