Level 60 Griefer LFG
So now that things seem to be under control in my business, and I've been able to hire some part-time help, I have more time. More time means I can play Eve more regularly!
I'm looking for a low/null sec PvP corp that minimizes political bullcrap and maximizes small gang fights. Now that supercarriers aren't be dropped on an invading Drake as effectively, I'm hoping to get some experience in... gasp... actual traditional PvP.
Yes, all my alts are burned as corp thieves. I don't want ROLES in your corp, and I won't ask you to loan me a jump freighter.
Convince me in the comments section to join, fight for, and blog about your corp.

you would put this up a month before I'm ready for a big recruiting drive wouldn't you. 3 weeks before we go back to lowsec, 2 weeks before the Holidays kick it into high and a week before I have a REALLY dull op planned.
YA BUM!
(Fancy Hats, a madhouse without the padding)
Loved the post title :)
Ach, come back tae us, laddie--we hardly knew ye!
I kid, I kid...Luck, have fun, and fly not-too-safe out there in 1337-land (avoid the "big players" like the repellent, putrid plague of herf-blerfing stupid that they are, but you knew this, right?).
I think I've figured out Jerk-Tengu's fit, b/t/w (or at least a fit that should work nicely for those MRs, and is not stupid-expensive except for the shield-booster). Care to corroborate/refute?
SUBSYSTEMS
Tengu Defensive: Adaptive Shielding
Tengu Electronics: Dissolution Sequencer
Tengu Engineering: Augmented Capacitor Reservior
Tengu Offensive: Accelerated Ejection Bay
Tengu Propulsion: Fuel Catalyst
(Slot layout HI/MID/LO = 7/5/4)
LO
1x Damage Control II
3x Caldari Navy BCU
MID
10MN Afterburner II
Warp Disrupter II
Stasis Webifier II
Pithum C-Type Medium Shield Booster
Invulnerability Field II
HI
6x Heavy Assault Missile Launcher II
1x Medium Unstable Power Fluctuator (T II won't fit even at max skill)
RIG
1x Ancillary Current Router II
1x Ancillary Current Router I
1x Hydraulic Bay Thrusters I
This will all fit with Advanced Weapons Upgrades to 4 and the rigging skills at 4, so no waiting a month for AWU 5 or any of that fitting-implant nonsense, thankfully.
Gank/Tank/Speed, all 5s:
Does 753 dps with CN Kinetic HAMs/602 with non-kinetic CN (885/708 heated)
Does 838 dps with Kinetic Rage HAMs/670 non-kinetic (985/788 heated)
Resists (Heated) EM--54.1 TH--90.8 KIN--86.2 EXP--77 (58/91.6/87.4/79)
Active Tank (SB Heated//SB + Invuln heated): 265 (334//365)
Speed (Heated): 0.633km/s (0.833km/s)
Capacitor lasts 1m18s with all on, 1m6s all on heated.
So.
Am I on the right track?
Got an idea for a MR-brawler/ganker HAM Drake with a medium Neut (needs an ACR I in a rig slot plus an RCU in a low to fit) that also looks pretty good, does anyone use those?
I vaguely remember paul saying that jerk tengu has only 3 launchers... or does 350 dps... cant remember which. either way, 1 neut isn't enough I dont think. assuming you're using it for killing mission runners?
As for paul: GL out there :)
I'd tell you to come join rifta but well our organized pvp is rifters.
Have a look at Tuskers, Shadow Cartel, Gunpoint Diplomacy. They're all excellent.
Surprised not to see more comments here punting ubar killboards and mega-piracy nano cane gang warfarez of 30 capsuleers.
Let me get to the point. We have neither of those. What we do have is a bunch of guys who are haven't fought about anything in over a year of business. We have no corp structure, no roles to assign, and absolutely no corp bs or politics at all.
We login, o/, and get right on it. Sure you could get involved in one of the ubar killboard nano fag mega pirate corps. Make up the numbers. Without sounding like an ad, which I already do a bit, I don't think there is a more fun group of low sec small gang bangers in the game.
I'll try get you online sometime.
Try RvB join reds or blues nothing but small gang pvp. When we aren't shooting each other we head off into low/null sec the ganked nights are stacks of fun.
You don't get any corp roles and other than being over 2 weeks old we don't care who you are.

Arwel:
Yeah, he said in one of the videos that "...jerk-Tengu only does ~350dps..." That would take a swap of subsystems (it looked like 5 missile launchers, 1 utility hi-slot, and maybe 6 mids, as he had his passive modules hidden, IIRC...Actually, the "Rifling Launcher Pattern" subby would give that layout--and a 25m3 drone-bay, the only sub for the Tengu that can do that...Maybe his missile-skills weren't quite up to scratch?
(For any Tengu pilot, train all subsystem skills to 5, it's short, and sooooo worth it.)
From the vids, that one neut usually seemed to do the job, sometimes with a little help from the friendly NPCs.
Resist-holes: MR haz 'em! :)
I'd have to go look at my old screenshots to see the exact fit, but it was pretty straightforward. The thing to remember about ganking active-tanked bears is that Speed>Tank>DPS, with DPS being a distant last place. 800 m/s, one medium neut and 300-400 DPS is plenty to kill almost any PvE fit Golem.
Like Tarryn says, resist holes are there and exploitable. Keep every damage type in your ammo pile.
I asked Paul about Jerk Tengu when fitting out my own Tengu for MR ganking. He couldn't really remember his fit, but I did find this loss on battleclinic.
http://eve.battleclinic.com/killboard/killmail.php?id=11065840
Cap stable, 411 sustained defense, 550 DPS @ 27km with terror rage, and 539 m/s with web, faction point and medium neut.
I used something similar, but with some changes to account for aesthetics and modules that I had on hand.
Accelerated Ejection Bay, Fuel Catalyst, Dissolution Sequencer, Adaptive Shielding, Cap Regen Matrix
5x T2 HAM
1x T2 Med Neut
1x Invul 2
1x T2 EM Hardener
1x Pith B-Type LSB
1x 10MN T2 AB
3x BCS2
1x DC2
1x PDS2
It would be better to switch the dissolution sequencer for an emergent locus analyzer, and drop the PDS in the low for a web in the new spare mid. However, I had to fly in style, and couldn't stand the short bus look. There's a lot of other/better shield boosters you could use, but the Pith B-Type was just something I had laying around from a solo PVP nighthawk fit I had been using. This fit has more EHP, sustained defense, speed and DPS than Jerk Tengu, but sacrifices a little cap stability and its web for it. It also plugs Jerk Tengu's EM hole.
My corp - ascendant would be a good place to start doing some traditional PvP. We are part of the clusterfuck coalition which includes TEST alliance, goons, and others. Currently a lot of small gang warfare going down, which we all know is the best kind. Check us out if you want. Lots of good people to be met within.
Join test alliance m8.
Welcome back my ... friend ... hope you have fun with the low sec pew pew, it's certainly a change of scene for you and hopefully will keep New Eden nice and fresh for you!
Hey tri gun is recruiting we are pArt of the TISHU alliance physcotic tendancies we live in low on the edge of syndicate and specialize in armor warfare but also fly nano shield aswell as some heavy shield bs fleets, give Raspun T a shout, he's the CEO I'm but a pilot. Fly dangerous
Considered W-space life? If you want a tight-knit bunch of folks and seriously small-scale PvP...wormhole space is where it's at! (Check out LOST-PUB ingame if you are interested in my current alliance, Transmission Lost, in particular.)
test alliance best alliance, with all the shenanigans you can waggle your wiggle at. membership includes organized and disorganized eeeleet pvp, voluntary "real" ops if you're so inclined, and drunken EVE-renditions of 'White Wedding' over TS3.
